This beautiful example of a 1982 911 SC is in prime, 95% original, condition. It currently has just over 98k miles. The relatively rare Chiffon White paint is in excellent condition, as are the wheels, engine compartment, bonnet, targa top, and the Chocolate Brown interior (including the dash -- no cracks!). As a well-cared for Colorado car, there is zero rust that I know of. The pictures don't lie about the car's condition.

When I was shopping for a 911, I drove about 10 different cars before deciding upon this one. Every other car I drove had one or another fatal flaw, or an accumulation of little flaws that made it unattractive. This one really had no such issue. If you are looking for a 911 to just buy, drive, and enjoy (and possibly even show), then this is one you should consider. If you're looking for a "fixer-upper", this ain't it!

The car has the standard/required updates including a pop-off valve and Carrera chain tensioners. In addition it has had many improvements and major services to bring it up-to-date and keep it performing properly: turbo tie-rods, new windshield, H4 headlights, valve adjustment (at 91k miles), transmission/syncro overhaul (yes, you can shift into 1st while rolling), new shifter bushings, new clutch and cable (at 91k), fresh tires (only 4k miles), newer brakes (at 88k), rebuilt alternator (at 91k), fresh hood and bonnet struts (you won't need a broomstick to hold them up).

Non-mechanical improvements include a Dino sport steering wheel (I have the original as well), nice Alpine head unit with iPod interface, Focal 6.5" in-door speakers, and a Blaupunkt Sub under the driver's seat. The rear speakers are Boston Acoustics. The engine compartment sports a new sound pad. The signal lenses are euro-amber (I have the originals). I've also installed a homemade glove-box organizer, which surely adds hundreds to the value of the car :-).

I have the owners manual and Porsche scheduled-service book. I also have semi-complete service records from past owners, and all service records from my time with the car. This car has no pressing issues that I'm aware of, and has always been incredibly reliable.

I'd like to finish with the two arguably most amazing things about this car: the A/C works, as does the original quartz clock!
